Branding and digital design for Young’s brewery; a British pub chain operating nearly 220 pubs across the UK.

The design challenge

The brief asked for promotional marketing for their campaign ‘Blues Brews BBQ’s’ event. This outdoor food and drinks festival would be running across all Young’s pubs over Summer. The campaign needed to represent the feeling of Summer and attract younger consumers to the event, while also appealing to the Blues category.

The design solution

The solution was to create a brand identity for the campaign that embodied the feeling of summer and community. The inspiration came from looking at old Blues photography. This style was paired with vibrant colours and quirky typefaces bringing a feeling of fun to the design campaign and encapsulate the feeling of summer.
